Media Inquiries

South Texas College understands the news media’s responsibility to provide accurate and timely information to the public about events that occur on our campuses. Although the public relations and marketing department is committed to providing this information to our media partners, we are also obligated to protect the privacy of our administrators, students, faculty, and staff. To help facilitate media requests, we ask our media partners to please use our media relation’s guidelines listed below.

All South Texas College news requests should be coordinated through the public relations department by contacting:

  • Interview requests with administration, faculty, staff or students
  • Experts via our Experts Bureau
  • South Texas college policies and procedures
  • Programs and events
  • Requests to film on our campus (students, buildings, general b-roll)
  • Breaking news

It is imperative that you contact our department before coming to our campuses so that we may better help facilitate your requests.
