Texas Public Information Act
The Texas Public Information Act, with a few exceptions, gives you the right to be informed about the information that STC collects about you. It also gives you the right to request a copy of that information, and to have the College correct any of that information that is wrong.
South Texas College Procedures
You may request to receive and review any of that information, or request corrections to it, by submitting a Public Information Request. Requests are only accepted through one of the following:

Non-Business Days
Under the Texas Public Information Act, a governmental body can designate up to 10 non-business days per year. STC has designated the following as non-business days:
2024: November 25 – 27 and December 19, 20, 23, 27, 30, 31
2025: March 17 – 19 and December 18, 19, 22, 23, 29, 30, 31
