Guidelines for Posting Events to STC Calendar of Events

  • Events should be submitted two (2) weeks prior to the event date for optimal effectiveness.
  • Only events open to the entire college community should be submitted for posting. Please refrain from making submissions regarding departmental meetings or internal college operations.
  • Event information should be reviewed and approved by the appropriate supervisor (dean, chair, director, etc.) before submitting it to the Calendar of Events.
  • Events for the Student Life Calendar section must have prior approval of the Office of Student Life before submission.
  • Please be advised that STC’s Office of Public Relations and Marketing is not responsible for the accuracy of the information provided in event submissions.  
  • Submitted events are subject to review and may be edited at the discretion of STC’s Office of Public Relations and Marketing.
  • Please allow two (2) business days for the STC Office of Public Relations and Marketing to review and post submissions.
  • If an event is cancelled or postponed after it is posted, please notify the STC Office of Public Relations and Marketing, (956) 872-8302.
