Learn how to make a Mother’s Day corsage and more during the free floral design seminar offered at STC’s Pecan Campus Library on March 28.
Are you already looking for the perfect Mother’s Day gift? Do you want to save a few dollars by making it yourself? If you want to create a lovely corsage to show mom how special she is, South Texas College has the perfect opportunity for you. STC’s Pecan Campus Library will host an orientation class in floral design on March 28 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. to help you learn some basic arrangement techniques and tricks.
The class offers a free introduction to the complete floral creation course series offered by STC’s Continuing and Professional Education Program. The cost of the complete course is $75.
While on campus, participants have the opportunity to use the library’s free services or view artwork on display in the Library Art Gallery. The Pecan Campus Library also offers a free Community Library Card, allowing community members to check out books at any of STC’s libraries for free.
The class is sponsored by STC’s Continuing and Professional Education Program, which offers more than 300 classes for career and professional development, and personal enrichment covering a wide variety of topics including accounting, CPR and first aid, graphic and Web page design, jewelry design, cake decorating and digital photography, just to name a few topics.
