In The Community

South Dakota State University nursing students wear shirts they received during an educational and cultural program at South Texas College.

STC shirts made their way back to South Dakota with the 16 nursing students from South Dakota State University who visited with STC nursing students in February.

During their visit the SDSU and STC students participated in a variety of trainings in geo-cultural aspects of the Valley; and healthcare system and health issues of special populations like migrants, immigrants and border populations. The SDSU students presented their project to members of the SDSU faculty and administration, wearing the shirts from their friends at South Texas College.
