Don’t miss student music recital at STC Pecan Campus
South Texas College’s Music Department is hosting its end of the semester student recital on Friday, Dec. 7, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. at the Pecan Campus Building D Auditorium located at 3201 West Pecan Blvd. in McAllen. Admission is free.
The event will feature 25 students performing piece ranging from the Renaissance period to jazz. STC’s Choir Ensemble will perform in addition to solo performances by students in the college’s Applied Piano and Voice courses.
“We have a very talented group of students this semester who are excited to share their talent with the community,” said Sharon O’Leary, STC music instructor. “These students have worked very hard on their pieces and look forward to the chance to celebrate their accomplishments and the holiday season with this event. We hope that the community will come out and support their hard work.”
